I think all will do this test. Just to make sure you don't have colour bllind that affects driving.

how is the number test being conducted? =0

cos' i heard from my friend who took a diff test said it's looking through a scope at different colours and tell what colour tat is one by one, i dont have his contact nw so nt v sure.

I guess someone say never signal at merging point the tester say can fail immediate is not true

look at ur test sheet, if i remember correctly "fail to signal" does not have immediate failure

unless this tester link it to "nearly causing accident" then u will get immediate

As for driving in 4th gear, lol

i from SSDC, i always drive in 4th gear

maybe is ubi road are quite jam, that why not so able to drive in 4th gear most of the time.

AMK area so shiok, once out of road, confirm is 4th gear. Not much car wan haha

I passed my Driving Test wif 16 points!!

I passed my test at the first attempt, with no mistakes. Drove perfectly.

But we dont have a points system in The Netherlands afaik, here you have to drive perfectly or you fail. A standard lesson package contains 30-35 lessons and one practise exam around 20-25 lessons. And before you can take the drivers exam, you also need to pass a theoritical exam.

It's been 3 days since I passed my TP test.And I've been driving the company van since then. : )
No more instructor besides me to guide me,No more MRT ride to BBDC....Feels great!

Good luck to all student from BBDC.Hope I can give tips and guide lines to all incoming TP testee...

Alright, some simple ones are like: keep close to your left side kerb when you are turning left, so that those sneaky bikers won't have space to squeeze on your left side. Otherwise for new drivers that still has more to learn about blindspots might knock into the bike.

But I guess the instructor would have told the learner too.

Within my 1 week of driving,I had no problem wif bikers,maybe cause I had the P plate displayed.Sometimes I do give way to bikers when turning left,specially when it's raining.A simple road courtesy will make your day,a happier journey.They appreciate it as they are the smallest form of vehicle on the road.And I know cause I'm an x biker.And they do raise their hand,in a form of thank you.The only problem I do face is wif the senior driver.When at the traffic,they will stop near your back.This will make some new driver feel uneasy.As for me,in the free gear,I will accelerate bit more,and my van black smoke will backed them a bit...ha ha.And not forgetting,when you're reversing to park,I do take some time as driving a van is not the same as a car.They are impatient,but what to do,they have to wait.When reversing a van,u have to check more on your side mirror.That's more or less of my " experience" on the road."Alleggerita",care to share your xperience driving a car...

Well, just heck care those people who tailgate you and pressurize you. If they are really so impatient, they will overtake you. So just drive safely, let them do the overtaking.

Added: Tip #2 from me: Always slow down when going up slope. Because you never know what's at the other side of the down slope. I experienced that before, on CTE. I maintained my speed of about 70kmh when going up slope at one of the bridges before AMK Ave 1 exit I think. And when I went over the crest and go down slope, I nearly knocked into the car in front of me. The traffic was very slow ahead and I couldn't see it. Luckily I slowed down in time.

Kerbing. But there's two kinds. Striking the kerb is serious, but not an immediate failure. But MOUNTING the kerb can be an immediate failure.
