Dollars and sense
NETIZENS have noticed that credit card companies are using very
creative ways to get people to spend first and pay later.
twosix thinks the trend will see 'more and more young working
adults declaring themselves bankrupt. Young people nowadays only
know how to spend to make themselves happy'.
Meanwhile, machim has been inspired to write a little ditty which
begins, 'Buy house take housing loan; got house take renovation
loan; got kids, lifetime kids loan', and ends with, 'Kids got so
many loans, no money to give parents; Parents no choice but to take
'big ear' (loan shark) loan'.

Bossy bosses
SNAPP posted an article which postulates that bosses who seek to
control their employees' every nanosecond at work will only kill
motivation and stress staff.
alvinaloy agrees.
A boss who micro-manages an employee has the makings of a poor
leader, he says.
'A manager is a leader. And good leaders delegate.'
jayan, however, says there is a difference 'between being a leader
and a manager', because having the ability to manage is not
necessarily the same as having the ability to lead.
