IE7 (the one on Vista and XP SP3) will still be based on the already-familiar, loophole-opening IE6 code... which means it is IE with just a new interface, w...

ITS SG

1. Microsoft Internet Explorer

2. Mozilla Firefox

3. Opera Web Browser

4. Avant Browser

5. Maxthon

6. Others.

The first 3 are probably the most popular among users.

For me, I think it has to be Opera, if you are looking for something fast. It consumes the leasts memory and resources. Furthermore, the latest version comes ad-free! Very Happy

alexkusu SG

i use avant…cos multi tab

ITS SG

Firefox and Opera has multi tab too. Wink

From my experience with Avant, it takes up a whole lot of resources.

It's just like Microsoft IE with added features.

alexkusu SG

opera...slow.. click X, it close down instead of minimise. Firefox.. have same thing.

not that user friendly. Mr. Green

Fatum SG

alexkusu SG

WiNtEr'SkiLL SG

Netscape is not in the league at all
Its not user friendly

leon_lai89 SG

ya anyway. just use internet explorer

Fatum SG

Netscape uses Mozilla's source code ... they are just about identical, other than different packaging ....

Mozilla used to be what Netscape called it's navigator ... and Netscape used to and still supports the mozilla foundation a lot

Fatum SG

yups ... they are now at version 8 i think ...

ditzy SG

Netscape came up with multi-tab first. It's mozilla and the rest that based their browsers on netscape and implemented multi-tab. Laughing

ditzy SG

Netscape navigator is still around, currently in ver8. Laughing

Icemoon SG

where is Lynx? Mr. Green

Xcert SG

I am using IE at the moment....cos it came with the OS and I am too lazy to go install something else...Tried Firefox and Opera before....like Opera more than Firefox...but between Opera and IE...will...Opera would be better in terms of graphical presentation...but IE is more supported...so which one is better depends on what I need and what I like at the time of usage. Laughing Mr. Green
