At least now I am clear of who is who’s clone…

Mr Soh SG

It is rather a hard thing to get recognised by one of the influential mags int he world Time......they also have a special report on him. To frankly put it, all the bashing and crapping isn getting u anywhere. He sold 150 million soundtracks according to timemag , an incredible feat

http://www.time.com/time/columnist/corliss/article/0,9565,1013198,00.html

but, by some computations, the best-selling recording artist in history. His scores have sold more albums than Elvis or the Beatles or all the Jacksons: perhaps 150 million, maybe more.

Rahmania SG

that fugue is in denial it is clearly seen from the way he craps...stupid and illogical..He says Bach and Mozart are better.....in what way? First he claims the modulation technique used by Bach is better..let me stress here...the modulation technique bach uses is a single monotonous instrument....In ARR's case the modulation consists of all the instruments modulating at the same time.....the love music and wind bit proves it...

When arr first arrived in 1992, his style of music looked alien to most ..what striked them first was the sound system..the clear quality and tech used..then slowy they realised the notes were also written in a different way...at the time people were not used to the style of presentation....It is matter of getting used to the style before long u will start enjoy his music..U gotta listen to his compositions a few times before it sinks into u....sometimes it is instantly , sometimes it is not.....

Rahmania SG

Firstly a few things prove ARR is a geniuos

1) He got the national award ( similar to a nobel prize) for his debut sundtrack in 1992

2) ALW listened to one of his tracks for the first time and immediately proclaimed he 's a genious and wanted to work with him

3) Chinese director He ping the same case as ALW. Hooked on instantly. Why would a chinese director want to scour for an Indian composer when there ar eloads in his own country to do the work?

4) He got booked for the LOTR musical

PlayGameAllDay SG

wat boring music yawnz Rolling Eyes

sory but u have to accept the fact that people have different tastes in music, stop shoving rahman down our throats. dun like means dun like case closed.

i asked a friend today wot he thinks about ARR's music. 1st thing he said was: over-hyped Shit. next thing he said was, stupid people nowadays confuse popularity with being good. finally he said the same stupid people also assume that professional courtesy shown between people in the same industry automatically equates to real accolades.

Laughing

he also asked since when is being booked for a lame-Assed movie like LOTR considered proof that someone is good?

[email protected] SG

dun think it is good, how to admit? this kind of simple logic u cannot understand ah? must be a particular trait of ARR fans then. Laughing

Mr Fugue SG
