mediacorp bi-annual star search was axed because there was too much artistes currently…but the recent project superstar, upcoming star idol and the super hosts…all these competitions seem to bring out more young new artistes…its seems contradicting to axe one competition but to come up with three new competitions

its very obvious that the upcoming one is going to earn more money than the bi-annual one through phone calls. they are not stupid you know. btw i've heard that they have come up a project superstar like talent search but its for the younger students who are still schooling. correct me if im wrong.

too many artistes…surplus liao at mediacorp…realli dun need create so mani contests…onli 1 2 earn money but the quality of shows r dropping these days…

the worst thing they did is letting the public vote for their favourite… a gd example of this is Project Superstar. popularity wont last long. the artists will eventually remain stagnant
