This is for Win XP

Start Menu-->Control Panel

If yr in Category View, go to: Date, Time, Language and Regional Options-->Regional and Language Options

If yr in Classic View, double click Regional and Language Options

Under the Languages tab, make sure Install files for East Asian Languages is checked. Some computers need the Windows XP Installation Disc to be inserted to install, while others dun need...

You can type in chinese if u download softwares like NJstar, or if you use Windows XP Professional, just switch the language bar to chinese.

for reading and writing, go for NJstar, download the trial version at their website. although they say trial for a few months, but after 4 years liao i'm still using it. Laughing

u dun need win xp pro to type it. i always use the chinese typing software in Win XP. It is included in both XP pro AND home editions

i agree, but not onli windows. ppl who ask for help all the time and not try to explore, troubleshoot and fix the problems by themselves usually learn nothing.

fair enough...but what if U explore and try and try but U cannot get the problem fixed...then how?start praying for miracle?
