Woah nice! that was wat i was thinking to write when i 1st read the topic starter post. Hmm... basically u have already listed the mail things that can score~ which means that with all these remember in mind, the topic start can sure pass liao. It's only the additional facts that his syllabus has that got to be read on addition.

Hmm... apart from that. I juz finished my test also using a method i created for myself. And i've got a Distinction the last time i've done my Marketing paper.

If i were you, i choose bachelor better..MDIS i dun think is good lor. but i dun intend to study further.. me poor fellow.. Sad i go out and PIA !

I think the modules more or less the same ah.. jus tat their marking requirement is rather strict than those in diploma level.. u need to support ur stand of saying on almost every sentence u stated in ur report..

university to me.. if for me to relax and SIan xiao mei mei wan... anyway i can take advanced level, it took me 1 and half yrs to get a degree.. i look up the programme in SIM..the module is like wat i study in poly.. but i hav to pay 17k for it.. ? Cost vs Benfits..ahaa

anyway, BurgerKing.....after u got diploma in marketing, what did u do? find job? if so, what kind of job?

also, u all got do marketing project before anot, where your lecturer ask u to select one product in the market(sold in SG) and do analysis on it? like SWOT analysis, history, description, your views on the product, future plans for the product and where it's heading etc.?
if got, what product u all choose? i'm thinking of choosing handphone(like maybe k750i), but handphone a bit too common leh. got any others anot, where there's a lot of things for me to write about?

Nikar, I studied marketing before.. and I opted for marketing specialisation coz my interest is there. The pricing are not so hard to memorise if u remember them by the name of the pricing.

Nikar.. when selecting a project or product, you must choose something hard but not difficult.. as what u have say.. Nokia Handphone is too common.. teacher and friends reading ur report sure got alot of comments.. and will even make ur presentation of ur work even harder.. As a result, ur marks will be affected..

My Suggestions:

Choose a

- Service Industry (Hotels, Fashion Retails, Delivery)
- Products like Massage chairs, comestic is a NONO.. (Girls sure got alot to say, dun ever try that..)

- Electronic equipments may work

Tis are above following examples u might choose, where ppl hav little or no knowledge what is gng on.? by den you can interest both ur classmates and lectures grading ur performance..ur idea should outstanding and u urself are able to show that the product/service that u are offering and wat u are driving at..

the above are Some tips to score well in marketing.. jus like writing a english composition to ur form teacher..you always write and describe about the topic "Accident' to him/her.. he read like also sianz...! write something different ! something OUTSIDE THE BOX ! Marketing is all about bringing out the "IDEA" out..

out of the 28, know those comon ones v well lor.. and relate them to some examples. like how some well known organisations use those pricing. eg, Nokia. Like that easier to remember la..
