Guys Guys, so where is the best location to apply? BBDC or SSDC? I tought SSDC nearer to Toa Payoh?

Yes, but it will move to woodlands in 2010. Unless you plan to and very confident that you can complete your BTT, FTT, TP in half a year's time, then you might be better off @ BBDC.

lianamaster SG

Huh? My birthday haven't reach yet.. How can i passed? Haha

If you start now, you can get your licence before March 2010 and if that's the case, you can try SSDC.

BBDC had the latest generation VTI (at that time), while SSDC was still using cars one, two generations back..

Mine was the 2005 City. -.-"

The clutch pedals, when depressed can touch the floorboard one.

Wah! I was lucky to be able to have the Civic at least 80% of the time, but I did get the chance to drive the older Civics and the City once as well (most of the time as a result of last-min booking thru their system)

Alamak... I got my driving licence at 20 leh.... Haha....

Why must wait until 20 years old to take BTT? I dun really get it.

I got mine before I turned 19.. I signed up for by BTT on my 18th birthday.. the chiobu at BBDC processing my application wished me happy birthday..

I got 2 chances to drive the Civic.

First was the 2004 City that was assigned to me broke down. So I got assigned to the 2005 Civic Exi. Not bad....

Second was the 2006 Civic VTi during the 2 compulsory auto lessons.

Is it a coincidence or is there a link between the brand of car used during learning, and the brand of car that one wants to buy?

Me too...I signed up when I was 18 years old and passed BTT and FTT before 19. But due to NS and my horrible planning, it took close to 2 years to get it.... Renew PDL like 3 times. Sian....

But those days were over and I managed to get it before 21, which is an 'achievement' in a sense.

I feel it was a coicidence on my part. I rmb there was a reason why BBDC and SSDC uses Honda cars but I forget liao. It so happens that the current Honda fleet of cars impress me more than Nissans and Toyotas. If in the near future, the latter brands come up with good cars, better than the Jazz, I might reconsider too.

That's true. As the Audi motto goes, 'Vorsprung durch Technik', 'Advancement Through Technology!'

Haha... Audi seems too far-fetched for now....but no harm dreaming about it.

BTT is for life. Just that you might need to renew your PDL every 6 months? If I'm not wrong, you have to pass your TP within 2 years of your FTT.

I passed my license during my Army days. Weekends book out chiong consecutive 2, 3 lessons per saturday/sunday. It was bloody expensive because of weekend rates. But upon passing, priceless feeling.
