DoggieHowser SG And what I meant is diff generation can change grille design. In and of itself, the triangular point supporting the Mitsubishi logo is not a determining factor for the generation of the car. The front bonnet is very clearly an 8/MR design. It has a reverse cowl design meant for better ventilation vs the flatter design on the 7. Rear wing is also an 8 design, which has CF and lighter. Guess you have to know what to look for.

bismarck SG oops... i must be blind....the thought of the evo7 i saw this afternoon remained stuck in my mind...
[email protected] SG thats what i felt too... plus, apparently the front end's been changed some, so i guess the original logo on the triangle would have been removed right? I felt it was the rims and the rear lights that gave it away as the MR.

DoggieHowser SG Yes, the VIII was launched last year. Differences (off the top of my head..) No, MR is still using 4G63 block first used in the original Evolution 1 (and the prev Galant VR4)
