When you say Christian, do you mean one of your friends ? Or one of your friend's friend who is one. Or maybe you heard it on the street from some random conversation ?

You get what I'm driving at ? Suppose I walk past a group of gangsters and I overheard them saying Lee Kuan Yew deserves to die. Can I get on the news and report about a conspiracy among Singaporeans trying to assasinate our Seniour Minister ? nope. I mentioned before, terrorists arent the only people we need to watch out for. some people, by the virtue of their foul mouth and actions, are working their way towards tearing the social and moral fabric of the society.

its what some people would call a 'blinded stage', people like you who refuse to see the the extremism and the potential harm, or actual harm rather within your group of people. its the beginning stage.

but i have never tot its the beginning. with priests in US for example, trying to enact a law preventing gay marriages, its akin to the talibans trying to put their womenfolk at home because of their 'tendency to sin' or a catalysis for lust.

its whether you choose to ignore it or not.
