Got demand, sure got supply one... they have been protecting the sharks for quite some time now, but there are still illegal killing and smuggling.

But I doubt nowadays the shark-fin soup in the wedding dinner table that we eat still has shark-fin lor, I think they removed that ingredient if I am not wrong. They put in more crab, and other replacements for the shark. Donno...

If lesser people eat it, restaurants will stop offering it on their menu. When restaurants stop ordering sharkfins, wholesalers will stock less sharkfins. When wholesalers stop importing or buying, fishermans stops hunting them.
