good for you! i encourage your attitudes but i must warn you as
well. Taking an interest in politics and becoming actively involved
is another issue. Most people have an interest in politics but
choose not to become involved. Some have more balls and decide to
take up the challenge of politics. Since you are still at a young
and tender age where your perceptions and views on issues are
slowly being formed, I would advise you to take a more passive
approach and take small steps at a time. Equip yourself with more
knowledge and ALWAYS take a look at both sides of the argument. A
lot of people think that being political is only about adopting one
view, campaign it as THE only view and think they are being very
smart. These people are dumbasses and there are too many of them so
please don't become one.
Your teacher seems to have some concern with your political views
at the moment and I would think that maybe your views are too
radical and not well formed. Take things slowly. Don't rush into
it. If you really feel a need to get involved, take on political
roles that are more within your grasp for example, student
government in your school (no matter what they say about prefects
of councillors, there's a lot to learn from it). Good luck with
that!
