The answers for the time being base on present economy condition :

1. Square TV means cheaper cost of shipping.

In economy term : YOu can put in more TV in a Container and ship more from Jpn to Sin.

2. In psychology term : your eyes feel more comfortable to watch if you compare to Triangle shape.

I hv more... save it for next round..

There used to be round television screens back in the 60's. I think modern technology dictates the shape of the picture.....most screens are rectangular. The aspect ratio of width to height is 4:3, whereas wide screen is 16:9....the same as the cinema.

A1. Presently, Television producers creativity are restricted largely due to how its packaging come about. Squarish in this sense.
I am going to defied this by inverting a long tube or a long triangle tube as a new TV packaging. I believed that the volume of square = volume of long round tube except that one is stack and the other is elongated.
Once this new service is in place, producers will have another avenue for creativity and hence who do they look for for packing... its me.. Mr. Green

Maybe it’s the way we view images in a frame. Paintings are on rectangular or square canvases. Traditionally, the square / rectangle shape frames the images we view. So this translates to TV screens.
