toyota caldina diesel turbo VS non turbo

hi guys, i was wondering that is the corolla 2C diesel engine is the same as the caldina's? as im planning to bolt in the turbo.

mine is a non turbo corolla diesel 2.0L, is the non turbo & turbo pistons are the same? if so, then i just bolt str8 on the turbo then.

any mod i need for that?

I am not sure for Turbo Diesel, but for petrol engine..... engine parts inside are different especially the material used.

Turbo petrol engine have to withstand high pressure thus their component like piston, bearing, etc are tougher and stronger.

Diesel.... diessel turbo pressure are less....
