another way is 1 + 97 = 2 +96 = 3+ 95 = ...
as there's total of 48.5 sets, just multiply 48.5 by 98. as the 4 ans have diff last digit. the one with last digit 3 is the ans. the ans then is (c). i did it in secs then, lol.

it is best that paper is difficult. in that case, most of the students can get thir grade modulated.

complain for wad? at the end of the day the good ones will still get their grade. due to the weird weird system of grading.

take a simple paper for wad. doesnt put ur knowledge to the challenge..

You made the assumption lay 10 at a time. Since the question is plainly a logical game (if then else question .. doesn't have to make sense), we can equally argue the distribution is uniform.

This, then, is creative thinking - not fixed on an answer and argue the rest as wrong.

I don't think that is a good way of seeing it.

Problems will always exist, the diff. is how you solve them. 'cos of Gauss, we have techniques to solve some of these problems.

Many students don't realize what they learn in high school are tools to solve problems, some of them practical problems like those in engineering.

i dun agree with u. i believe that most of the maths stuffs we learn now are totally crap. trigo, maclaurin, differentiation, etc. i dun see these stuffs in my future, perhaps i will if i decided to become a maths teacher. u may say about what rocket scientists or engineers will need these calculations, but shldnt these be embedded into the respectively fields instead of throwing all out at us in sch? although i have a flair in maths, i truely have no understanding in how all these craps work. just take it as a brain-teaser.

Schools are here to give us a broad based educaton, with enuff foundation for you to tackle the stuffs in specialised institutes, be it poly or uni.
