There's nothing pretty much you can do to check the car. Most
agentys may have added addictives to enhance the engine performance
temporarily and there is probably no way to check,especially to the
untrained eye.
But there are some basic measures you could take.
1. Check mileage.Obviously,the higher it is the worse.Of course
take to account the age of the car.
2.Step on accelerator and check for white smoke from the exhaust.If
there is white smoke,that means the car gone case liao.
3.Check exterior for major dents or minor scratches etc.If yo ufind
any,use it to try knock down the price?
4.Ask to check the life span of the battery,the last time the air
con got serviced(Older cars tend to have issues with the air con
coil due to wear and tear)
5.Original paintjob means that the car is probably accident
free.Which is a good thing.
