hi everyone,
sorry got another question again.paiseh.......
i have problem securing a loan for my car.
can my sister who doesn't have a driving license buy the car and apply the loan under her name but the insurance, etc be me?

Buying a car under your sis name is fine. Insurance billing is attention to the car owner. When the bill come, you just paid loh.

No.. everything will be under your sister's name, including the loan and insurance...

If you have probs securing an inhouse loan… u can always ask yr sister to act as a gurantor(is that the correct spelling??)...

the car can put under your sis's name but as for the insurance,i think have to put it under yours...

insurance will be under yr name…. there’s no installment for that, the others yr sis can act garantor. yeah vios dirt cheap and just voted as the wheelsasia budget car of the year for the 2nd year(hmm&#8230 Wink Guess its worth the wait i’m suffering nw.

To own and maintain a car for 10 years, it is good to get a better make car. I am not suggesting hyundai is not a good car, in fact their quality have improve quite a fair bit since the earlier days. Car maintenance should also come into the picture. Are the car spare parts expensive and is it easily available in the market.

What car to get depends on how you feel of the car when you test drive, cost (Interest/total cost), T&C of the agreement(break contract), and also the attitude of the sales person. I have a few friends that are pretty piss off with Borneo Motor Bo-Chap Sales attitude and buy other brands instead.

Getz(1.5l??)....AarggHH, not that I'm against Korean made cars... but it fuel Consumption sucks big time....been driving it for 3.5 weeks as my frenz not in sunny city and he allowed me to drive till he comes bk next week. Although it cute and nice in the interior its consumption is only about 9 to 10 km per litre only. As I travel about 76 km a day to work and bk. Monthly payment might be less... but FC wise it sucks. Heard it resale value is also no good.

Think hard if you want it. If its to be hyundai...why not matrix. Even it fuel consumption also bad. Twisted Evil

I tink u can buy the insurance and car under another person's name.... tats wat i tot of doing also..... putting under my father's name... although my dad aso no license... but he is older, and tat could save me quite some money on the insurance, maybe ard 700 - 1000 for a first party insurance... tats very worth it.... as im only 20+, insurance for me is definitely more exp.

maybe u can trying asking the sales guy and let us know again... frm wat i know frm a hyundai sales person, she said can... dunno true or nt .... otherwise get ur uncle or who has the license... no point spending the extra few hundred dollars...

For Hyundai Getz.... i tot of getting one too.... but somehow the car is really small, think twice if u r going to ferry ur whole family...
