Hmm, I guess it is just destiny that we are born male and Singaporean. But I'm sure Fudge we will get on one of those planes these days and stare down at those diminishing dots as we take altitude. Not to gloat, but knowing that we were once those little dots staring helplessly at those planes from an island we were once maroon upon Very Happy Au Revoir!!

for your situation, I've an advice for you:

dun consolidate and accumulate yr OFFs till the end. spend it sparringly as you may not have chance to clear in one shot.

army is unpredictable and suddenly you may have things to do and you have to forfeit yr OFFs.

hrmmm same here... kana brought to emart by the 3sg during confinement in tekong in the evening after dinner. Haiz... see planes fly above very nice but at the same time heart sinks loh... everyone miss home... the feeling is terrible.

hrmm i think during take off... u will not think a lot one lah... unless u are those have phobia flying... those seated next to the window mite look out and enjoy the view... some will sleep some will read magazines... those seated at the bulkhead mite wana look at the pretty cabin free seated face to face with them during take off?

i still remember field camp in tekong. i was mono intake, so field camp in tekong was the longest time i spent on the island. anw...i just got back from australia about a month or so before...and the feeling of seeing all those planes fly by. i was quite depressed, and also relieved that i wasn't spending my bmt in tekong. else i'd die of heartbreak. Crying or Very sad

these days...i'm just waiting to fly off for my studies...didn't feel much the last time i saw a plane take-off...the day i ORD. i flew off to Japan that very night...guess i was still in shock...the joy of ORD...didn't know what to feel...

i talk like real only. i nw in jc2. hahaha.

once, i was cycling along changi coast road. den got SIA Boeing 744 near me. den i guess after it seek clearance 4 take-off, it accelerated like crazy. i tried to keep up by cycling. den.. it just flewww... so nice..

that's why venting machines in our COY are very important as they're the only thing that reminds us of civilian life, and gives us a touch of warmth and console.....
