sgboy SG Anyone using Acer Laptop Aspire 5504 or Travelmate 8104? Any reviews or comments on this 2 models? Which will you choose?
ndmmxiaomayi SG I will recommend Travelmate 8104. Security is there. Easy to use. A big enough screen. A good enough sound system to play music. Can burn DVD. And got a processor fast enough. Got more RAM than other Acer models. Enough reasons? Not enough, go http://www.acer.com.sg/ Read the specifications there and compare yourself. Price is a problem though.
BadzMaro SG Acer Travelmate series laptop or pretty much all Acer laptop the only weak thing is the life expectancy of the monitor. I shorts out in a very short life span . So becareful of how u handle the screen… e.g no pressure in the bag like stuffs presseing against the back of the monitor.
ditzy SG x2, otherwise its as reliable as any other. Last I heard was that they rectified the hardware problem for good in the newer models. So no worries.
Shad_666 SG Aspire 5504 and Travelmate 810 are very similar, but the bigger screen on the 8104 is more appealing. Personally, I would get the Turion-equipped version. It's faster and 64-bit ready.
FireIce SG if oni these 2 choices then go for travelmate lah if u willing to consider other options........pls go for thinkpad
