200 years ago, dancing would have been considered to be sinful.
Of course we are more liberal nowadays.
There is nothing wrong with drinking liquor in moderation nor
dancing. However, there is always a possibility of falling into
grave sin in such conditions. Getting into fights, one night
stands, the possibilities are endless. Drinking when you know you
are not supposed to is also sinful because you may endanger those
around you (drunk driving, possible sexual crimes).
Have fun, but have precautions too.
