ndmmxiaomayi SG Cannot win PAP, trying all sorts all of things. While it is legally correct that as long as the group of people is not more than five, it is not an illegal gathering, there is no need to resort to this tactic. Gather four people, have a peaceful protest, dispersed by the police. Then sue the police for derpriving them of basic human rights. This will make a lot of Singaporeans unhappy with the PAP and therefore vote for them. What an underhand tactic
Shigemichi Take SG Have someone ever done this before? Nothing will happen to CP and Home Affairs minister for sure. Its like the 2 freaks going against the GOV.
Mr Soh SG If i not wrong they using their woman. especially anything goes wrong with a woman the whole international human rights organisations will be watching….
Mr Soh SG When neigbours fight at HDB, the mata takes 30 mins to come. ? But 4 harmless people gather, they pop out instantly jus like popcorn... Anyone knows why? so i wondering if 4 people doing a harmless protest is more serious than neighbours argue which u know can lead to a fight?
the Bear SG something about landmarks? CPF Building isn't hard to find.. Block 352, #19-2453, Pasir Ris St 32.. a lot harder to find? heh heh heh
Mr Soh SG they are mata and supposed to be chun chun know about places...what if a robber on the run hides in someone house? very hard to find issit?
the Bear SG a robber running and hiding, got someone running in the first place and they are checking the vicinity... and i ask you.. NS policemen, or policemen who are rotated where manpower is low... every block and every flat they get to know? in an ideal world, beat cops would know the neighbourhood well.. we live in the real world where people don't want to become policemen, so there are NS policemen instead.. we live in a world where manpower for these essential services is never ever enough.. but back to whimsical things... let's see.. Joe Average calls up and says "hey! there's a fight" vs DPM calling up and saying "hey! there's a demonstration!" what would the average police dude do?
2ndSon SG so what other overhand 'tactic' can u think of to highlight the protection of our constitutional rights as citizens as mandated by the constitution? whats the use of the constitution if the police can act outside it? the "someone called to complain" excuse is lame lame lame.. ya right 'someone called' and they juz happened to have a gazillion matas to respond.. I seriously doubt it is an "underhand tactic' to win opposition votes. They most probaly won't win, the police will use d pre-planned "someone complained abt disturbance" n we acted to preserve the peace angle, but at least it will serve as to remind the police and d guhment dat we pea-sents have constitutional rights too..
