Kindness? or national disaster?
Suharto's regime already tried to cut the fuel subsidy because it
was costing abt 1/5 of the national economy. In long long run, it
would serve the country no good.
The fuel hike demonstrations recently have been largely subdued to
the great relief of the current administration.
