any comments on this car? the technical specification on this car is rather nice.. 240hp on a 2.0 litre engine. the specs look better than my current BMW 320ci and toyota camry 2.2

design quite nice and price is affordable.. anybody know why it isnt that common on the roads?

i have seen it on the road.. but its not really that common as other cars.. heh.. maybe its just me? *shrugs*

i tend to see more continental cars..

i intend to get the airtrek turbo after selling off the toyota camry.. probably few months later.. gotta love the sleek design of the airtrek!

HENG@ dad got Airtrek turbo R. all i know is….i was completely amazed that how much torque that this car has…amazingly…powerful…but top end wise its capped at 180km/h. Tried it with the amazing [email protected] himself…hit 100km/h at abt 7 secs timed by us at west coast rd hehehe!!

i heard b4 1 Airtrek Turbo that produce a sharp sound...
n my fren tld me its the BOV...but its diff from other BOV
like EVO,REX...etc its an auto car rite???
i tot ppl say only change gear den got the BOV sound but its an auto??? Laughing

hmm.. damn.. imagine its tuned and modified.. lol.. from other webbies.. i heard that this ride here is 1 of the fastest one ard compared to the others..
the technical spec of the engine was better than the bmw.. i still love my 320 though~

hmm.. i don think evo and rex are automatic trans.. i think they're manual..

auto also change got change gear what...have u ever read the specs of any auto cars that say "4 speed automatic or 5 speed automatic"??????....i got hear BOV from airtrek before so many ppl putting it even the Subaru Forester Xt turbo also got ppl put BOV...but seems that the sound u describe isnt BOV but its the turbo spooling...the sharp wheezing sound...yeah...

BOV is actually - Blow Off Valve

Evo and rex are all manual. For WRX - they have the automatic version in Australia.

Blow-off Valve is for releasing air if it becomes too pressurised...

I've forgotten why...

BOV is for turbo charged cars only, its for releasing pressure build up withint the turbo in ur car and it prevents ur turbo ball bearing from spinning backwards.

nope...it doesnt come with one...u have to go install it ur self....as in sent for ppl to do it for u. no stock BOV. and airtrek dont have one....
