1991 Vitara 1.6 4WD good?

And in your opinion do u think there should be a off-road triail in sg?
I can suggest one nice spot with 45 deg slope that is a entrance to a area....

I would like to verify the prevous post that the entrance leading to an area was just a grassy area and the place can be found at rifle range Road and the slope is part cement so be sure to look out of a white path leading upwards.
The path is quite a long one but will recover some of singapore old army camps and there is new one too. The path leading to the new camps is part unlighted so u need to use High Beam. i know because my uncle who was an ex-racer bought a convertable 1991 Vitara 1.6 4WD and we explored the rifle range road. Other 4WD viehicle owners can discuss their cars here too(Pajero,Grand Vitara, Harrier etc). The suzuki car site is www.zukiworld.com

i was previously a transport sup in ns. u want kick must go to mandai there, got one road opposite mandai camp2 after the zoo junction, there got hill so steep, the 3-tons n landrovers also got prob climbing. we did a off road course there n the most fun is when u take a 3-ton, engage differential lock n 4x4, then u drive it DOWN the slope. like rollercoaster ride Wink

oh thank you for ur info but is there any road/trail that is only mud, i would prefer that as we can go 4×4 ?

well, the trail i mention is entirely soil n mud, but not so sure if u can just drive in as its a military area. but i did see a lot of pick ups n lorries going in to do works, maybe u can pose as a supervisor or sumting...good luck! will be going there but driving a 5-ton for reservist Crying or Very sad

brother...u talking abt lorong asrama? dun se silly la.... Laughing that places is off limits to civilians...except for the ice cream man who is there.... but seriously not reccomended....alot of potholes....not careful...u'll get stuck easily and besides...after come out wheel alignment sure koyak one.... drive 3-ton ar? hahaha u shld come 2 35 SCE where we have 7 tons...2 bad gonna phase out in 3 yrs time... I'll be going 2 that place on monday for my cross country driving course....like u using 3 ton...wonder will the ice cream man be waiting?? Rolling Eyes

5-ton shoik wad...air con....auto 4WD....and u can cut corners w/o applying brakes and the damn veh. will auto apply it 4 yea....damn smart veh...but not so smart when overturned...which was the case a few days ago at bedok.... Neutral

yup thats the place, tink the ice-cream man still there. ya the 5-ton is gd, took over the vehicles n did servicing for them. but recently also got tekong 5-ton overturn...anyway the most i ever drove was the dunno how many ton skid-tanker. wreaker cannot becaz i no class5 Crying or Very sad

But the plc the slope shiok right???going up not so scary, its the going down!
