well im prob gonna get flamed for this but i'll say it. I kinda doubt the webby's info, because if its true why haven't the Saleens officially been recognised as the world's fastest production car? plus lotsa inaccuracies, such as:

McLaren F1's 0-60 timing is 3.2s
McLaren F1 was well known for having held the world 0-100-0 record at 11.55 till somewhere in 2001 or 2002. yet it wasn't included.
Enzo's 0-60 times are 3.4s and not 3.3s, while 0-100 times are 6.5s not 6.6s
Merc SLR's 0-60 times are 3.7s, yet not included.

Seems like the SR7 holds a lot of records yet non officially recognised? The SR7 is a great car, that im not denying, and I'm not saying they r lying or anything, but I do feel their data is inaccurate.

dude not all car manufacturers use their own engines. The Maclaren F1 supercar uses a BMW engine. In fact, many F1 racing teams use engines of other F1 cars from the previous seasons. I'm sure many of our bros here who are fans of F1 will know wat teams i'm talking about.

Williams uses BMW
Renault uses Renault
BAR uses Honda
Toyota uses Toyota
Jaguar uses Cosworth
Sauber uses this year's Ferrari engines, abeit a couple of specs down.
only Jordan and Minardi uses older spec Fords, which is Cosworth. 2 is not a lot actually...

not picking but, look at e list, its true that many teams get their engines from another manufacturer. only Toyota, Ferrari and Renault make their engines. McLaren is really more well known for chassis engineering, and in history many supercars have used engined from other vehicles. For ex, the Farboud has an Audi V6 engine.
