Dear Rat_Fink,
I have posted an open apology to "Bloop" (the driver involved in
this incident), this is most important thing to me.
Moving on to your post, there are 2 things I wish to highlight to
you.
First, I thank you for writing this post, else I wouldn't have
known that I've irked someone with my driving.
Next, you are definitely entitled to your views and how you read
the incident. It only becomes an issue if you do not ensure these
views of yours are NOT WARPED before posting it in a public
forum.
1. I do recall distinctly that I was very close to the crx but NOT
bumper to bumper. We started off from being stationary 1 after
another at the traffic lights in front of Thomson Medical.
2. I was following very closely behind the crx after the left
turn-off from Thomson Rd leading into PIE (2 lane road prior to
merging into 1 into PIE) as the crx was faster than the other
vehicle on the left.
3. Once past traffic on left, I tried to speed off ahead on the
left due to rush for time, but was not fast enough to overtake this
van in front (when 2 lanes merging into 1). The crx was gracious to
allow me to come back in behind the van and in front of it.
4. It is my intention to exit at Adam Rd.
My questions for you (actually, rhetorical, so no need to reply
lah):
A. When you said being behind to watch, where exactly? Are you able
to see the actual distance between us?
B. You think CRX driver "tulan", that is fine, that is only what
you think right?
C. You did not say you
think "STI cannot catch", so this is an unfounded statement
by you. Are you trying to stoke a flame here between STI/REX and
CRX drivers? (Both sets are friends by the way if you do not know.
Many STI/REX drivers today were ex-Honda owners)
D. Your last statement seemed attentioned to ALL TC car drivers.
You are telling them NOT to be (quote) "Kwailan" too much
(unquote). Are you saying we are ALL already "kwailan" to begin
with? Please be very clear with your intention with this.
