i have tens of GB to backup before i reformat
was thinking which method would be better(cost effective and
time)..
havent did my calculations yet. but impression is that dvd maybe
cost effective because a 4.7Gb disc is only a few bucks and even if
i use cd-r at 700MB it may not be viable.
however dvds only burn at a max 16X and at 4.7GB it's gonna be a
long wait..yet cd-r, 700MB using a new cd burner would be like 52x
at 700MB ? of course there's a lag time between each disc is burnt
and i would have to break up my folders like mad and when i copy
files back...it's gonna take me days....
advise ? on the other hand, maybe considering a portable HDD
