We r halfway into Jan 2005 n CNY is jus ard the corner!!! Mr. Green Here's a early Happy Chinese New Year 2 everyone. Gong Xi!!! Gong Xi!!!

Well a great start to 2005 by the founder himself, extremex. A whopping 18 pts scored this wk with 5 accurate predictions. *clap* *clap* *clap* Well keep them coming n perhaps the 2 horse-race will b more interesting? Twisted Evil

Lokking elsewhere ard the table... RSP came in 2nd with a score of 12 pts, Båseline 3rd with 11 pts. Mayb the reason he didn't joined the soccer watching was bcos of additional research? Mr. Green )

A 3 way tie for 4th goes 2 galgal, mercutioz n s|nNeD. UnLeAsH_cHa0s decides to relax this wk n turn in a pantry 5 pts, way below his standard... Twisted Evil xking 6, Redz 5 n PJ_Quek 4 complete this wk's scoring. When will the Chelsea bandwagon grinds 2 a halt??? A couple of late goals else more ppl will get more pts this wk.

Until next wkend guys n gal. Mr. Green

mercutioz SG

U still dare 2 said, when was the last time I see u do some work ard here? Mr. Green

bismarck SG

hahaha

nah..i dont stand a chance.. Laughing

bismarck SG

hmm
so getting the right outcome( guessing right the winning team or draw) is 1 pt ?

Correct GD (Correct Selection + GD) +2pts ???

mercutioz SG

yep u got it rite, getting 3 pts requires not only guessing the right winning team but also the correct GD. Draw match only gives u either 1 pt or 3 pt, cos it's impossible 2 get 2 pts. (Might b looking into it 2 increase score 4 correct drawn match 2 4 pts next season)

bismarck SG

err...ok...nvm

i just post..someone will do the calculations can liao Laughing

extremex SG

woot! i got lots of 3pts ^^ Mr. Green

mercutioz SG

I don't know how u did it, but mind posting earlier, so the rest of us who punts can take ur predictions as reference? Mr. Green

It's good to see the response of most participants r still gg strong in 2005. Even tho this week's league fixtures were up late, most of the ppl still manage 2 get thei postings up in time. Thanks guys n gal!!! Life's a bitch and RL can b busy 4 everyone but the fixtures will b up earlier in the coming weeks.

A couple of new additions 2 the league. Bismarck who's always being ard n abt in soccer related topics. Nice 2 see u bro, albeit u r a tad bit 2 late. Perhaps catching up with the pack will b a nice target?

Airbus330Captain who's back with us. No question asked on the missing period. Jus keep posting, man.

A few comments on this week's performance. 2nd thru 4th positions r hauling asses!!! Båseline, UnLeAsH_cHa0s, extremex n xking all registered scores in the 10s. Extremely astonishing n surprising is the performance of extremex, a whopping 19 points!!! Well keep that up 4 a couple of weeks n in March, we might still see a new league leader. Gratz, man Mr. Green

i dont believe this.....i bought the wrong matches...

i sneaked out of hse to bet on soccer while no one was home.
planned to buy the Man U match and since i was in a hurry, i quickly glanced at the lcd screens for the match number because i already knew what i wanted to buy but the bet slips were located a distance away frm the screens.. and in a hurry i failed to dbl check match no and bought the wrong matches...

i wanted to buy Man United....ended up buying sheffield united vs west ham.....

both United..but diff Crying or Very sad

Well,well,well...I decided 2 take a breather this wk n see whether the chasing pack can make up some grounds, esp the trio of Båseline, UnLeAsH_cHa0s and extremex. Sadly, extremex decided 2 hedge his score with Båseline this wk, who had an off day at the office. Mr. Green

The onus is on Båseline as he has 2 carry not only his regular partner galgal but an extra weight in extremex. UnLeAsH_cHa0s didn't dissappoint with a +6 score 2 make up some ground.

Top gainer this wk were s|nNeD n Bismarck with +8 each. Keep up the good work guys!!! 11 rounds remained with tons of points 2b gained. The gap at the top is 10- 20 among the top 4. The next group average ard 11-39 from 5th place to 8th.

With Champions' League coming thick n fast and League matches interspersed in between. There's lot's of room for improvement. And anybody gg on a mini run can easily make up the gap. Even I can't take another breather liao. So jus hang in there 4 another 2 mths n the table will b more obvious by then.

extremex SG

lol baseline +3 only -.-

haha now i got lots of projects due and exams coming... but i try to log in n post as much as i can..
i wan to get top 2 haha Embarassed
