it is cheap doing in Malaysia, but there are pros & cons. there are so many paint workshops in JB, how good is the quality still a question...right?! For price sure better than SG.

Anyway, i have frenz relative doing paint work in JB. If you interested, can introduce lah. Wink not so bad for the workmanship & price reasonable.

Was thinking of doing my bodykit Very Happy together with the paint job in JB.

I intend to be a 'riceboy', make it look as close to a mini as possible Laughing

looking at all the mini's out there.

BTW, if i intend to cut out a sunroof, will it void warranty? Read bot it in the K2 cars forum...

5k servicing arh, not much to lookout. remind them use standard
engine oil, NOT full synthetic. just in case, like mua. Sad
its same stuffs as 1k servicing.
do remember to call to book ur servicing time slot.

free labour servicing is 1k, 5k & 10k.
if u use full syn oil on 5k servicing, it will be due to change
@ 15k, so u'll "lose" 1 more free labour servicing lor.
(coz full syn oil can last 10k drive.)

use the full synthetic @ the 10k servicing. Wink

Advise not to cut the sunroof, bcoz our roof is not that "thick" can cater for that. of coz perodcom will not take responsibility for that if any defect.

Relax bro, step by step mod your fish. You will get more better picture if come for the meetup for the mod. Well, we are going for the mod on 6/10/04 (wed) to JB. Wanna join us? can look out for your bodykit with good price.

Sis, changing of oil will be on 10K not 5K. But i do suggest doing the 10k service in peroduce service center in JB. Far more cheaper than in SG. My experience for my 10K cost me S$80.
Edward have done his 10K service in JB just RM100, and the quality of the full syn oil better than SG, somehow they will return the remaining balance back to you. Also include normally servicing & and changing spark plug too.

As mine fish is going to hit 20k liao, will try the JB service center. Of coz wheel alignment too...heeheee Mr. Green

i've sourced info on this few WTs:

Shiro SA1100 $59/pair
Motorola T5720 $140/pair
Motorola T6226 $109/unit (new! not sure pricing.)
Motorola T5700 $99/unit?pair?, ?km radius.

SA1100 = 0.5W tx power, 3km (ida approve)
T6226 = 0.5W tx power, 3km (ida approve)
T5700/t5720 = 1W tx power, 5miles/8km (seems to need license)

ida approved freq (no need license) = 446.0-446.1 MHz
T57xx freq = 462.5-462.7 MHz

changing of the normal engine oil is every 5k mah, correct?
then full syn engine oil is @ 10k right?

so...
-> 1k: change normal/cheaper engine oil, spark plugs, filters...etc.
-> 5k: change normal/cheaper engine oil, spark plugs, filters...etc.
-> 10k: change to full synthetic engine oil, spark plugs, filters...etc.
