Statistics and test theory are often overlooked in psychology
because they are more mundane than other apects of the field. I
personally think this is a dangerous trend because psychologists in
fields that use tests, such as human resources, quite often do not
know what they are doing and select the wrong tests for the wrong
applications.
For those who have studied psychology, how much emphasis was placed
on stats and test theory in your course?
