If you don't need a good pair of skates, I suggest those from
Carrefour. The cheapest costs only $29.90, inclusive of protective
gears. The better version of it would cost $49.90, without guards.
The cushioning is rather thin, so you need thick socks to make up
for that. No point getting an expensive pair for your first, as
they will be reduced to scrape anyway.
