kiatant SG HI all, I intend to buy a COE car. And this will be my first time owing a car. I saw in the newspaper that, they are selling '93 Honda ESI at 21.2K. $0 down-payment and monthly of $200++. COE until 07/2011 Is it wise to own one of those.
kyne SG It is not possible to own a car for 200 a month. Those marketing gimmicks. 200 a month is likely to be just the interest or the amount after paying some obscene downpayment. Judging from the cheap prices of new cars, it is adviseable to get new cars instead of COE cars... COE cars Higher road tax and insurance Higher chances of breaking down Less spare parts Higher interest High FC All these statements are in general and of course there would be exceptions.
