EricDraven SG Have you ever want to read a book which is too expensive to buy, yet unborrowable from the national library? Borrow it from a sgforumite! For those who want to borrow a book: Just list those books you would like to get here! For those who are kind enough to share their books: Lend your book to those who want to borrow it! Meet up somewhere and exchange books, and at the same time, know more friends? PS: If this works, it's good. If it doesn't, it only makes me look like a fool... Warning: Kids under 18 are advised to obtain parental consent before meeting a stranger from the net (best if go with your parents to meet anyone). The net is a double-edged sword. ======================================================= First official book-exchange outing 29th Jan 2004 Zoo + B&J Ice Cream + Book-Exchange Outing: http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=110085 List of reserved books: Lender Book Borrower care bear A Short History of Nearly everything- Bill Bryson PCT EricDraven Why Men Don't Listen And Women Can't Read Maps - Barbara & Allan Pease care bear Care bear The 5 people you meet in heaven Otingocni

EricDraven SG Hey, the once-a-month meet up to exchange books is a great idea! Can have dinner and chit chat as well... I don't really have any books I want to borrow... and I don't really have any readable books (all technical books) I can lend... For a start, I volunteer this Why Men Don't Listen And Women Can't Read Maps by Barbara & Allan Pease given to me by my ex... I managed to read til Chapter 2 before I stopped, which is quite a remarkable achievement... but it's not because the book is boring.. In fact, the book is pretty interesting! I'm the one who is boring...

the Bear SG it's all my fault i have this book called The Bear Comes Home it's about a bear which has the power of speech, and everything like a human, except, he's a bear, who is into Jazz, and plays the saxophone... he is also articulate and sensitive... and somehow gets himself arrested.. and his friends break him out and they record albums and go on tour strangely, a great read!
