Anyone knows where to sign up for advanced driving courses? Not the drive in carpark/expressway ones tho. Seem to have heard Honda/BBDC and AAS used to hold em. Wondering if anyone knows. Thx.

Go for those private instructors...heard got one website u can check the private instructors 'ranking'...how many students under them had passed.
more flexible as u can adjust ur time better, and can cheat a bit by having lesser hours to clock before passing! Mr. Green

Hi thx for responding. Ive just got my class 3 already, so what i meant was those courses i heard abt which teach abt skid control, slaloms etc. I think something like the BMW drivers’ course. Coz was on expressway in friend’s car recently he lost control of the car (despite driving slower than the speed limit&#8230 Wink and we promptly did a colin mcrae into the ditch.

Yup that’s why he was going slower. But not slow enough to avoid a Kancil (we were on North-South) that suddenly swerved in our lane. We swear by airbags now. But the car was a total wreck,waste of gd money, so someone recommended some advanced training since we both got our licenses within a few weeks ago. Not the racing kinda training tho im curious abt that. Any such thing? Not go-karts tho seems like an expensive hobby.

hmm u might wanna check with AA singapore for advanced driver's course. for racing, im afraid theres no proper training sch in singapore. the cheapest way to learn racing, im afraid, is go karting. if u want to do cars.... a budget of.... $250k is about what u need, including getting a decent car to learn n train in. Go kars will set u back by... oh about $15k a year. compared to 250k, 15k is.... a fraction. and damages are going to be cheaper to fix in the learning phase.

near as i recall, most such courses r held in malaysia’s circuits.

Right. Shall work on robbing a bank first, then getting round to all these courses. Oh wait might hit something with getaway car. Yesh, i think i shall check out the defensive driving stuff (heard something abt BBDC/Honda doing courses at Sepang) and AAS (my friend says they use PG, dunno how true). Thanx ppl.

dude the ones organied by AA dun need u to rob a bank. go rob the local mama shop can already. Laughing
AA ones r something like defensive driving, not racing training. it wun cost a bomb, so relax. Cool
