how long will the SFM last b4 changing to SFN?

until run out i think. but i didn’t know it’s at SFM already. i thought it’s still SFL worz. anyway wanna ask soemthing. how to get the 2 letter one? “SL” “SM” etc. (Example: SM1234Z) why so special got 2 letter one..?

I think the 2 letter ones are very old, probably bided numbers. I might be wrong

I think SFM change to SFN takes ard 2 mths....
2 alphabet r old num n can get from bidding...can check it out in straits times...they cost a bomb.. Laughing

mine is a 3 digit SFL no.... got my car registered in end july.... now already starting 2 see SFL9xxx.... so mayb with the surge of car buyers, numbers mayb running up faster....

can check with ur SE and let him/her know ur preference to haf SFM or SFN.... if the time difference is not too far off, they shd be able to do it for u....

yesterday on my way home, saw a SFM17XX red honda jazz n tis morn a SFM!XXX black mazda3..... so now should be 1000 series or 2000 series already....

a question to ask....

recently i had just placed a bid for a number and from the LTA website it says that my bid is successful but from then till now for about 2 weeks, LTA never send me any letter saying my bid is sucessful.... so do i need to go to LTA to get a letter or just wait and see?

why would SFM numbers run out faster then SFL huh? actually i quite like SFK but too bad a bit late so end up getting SFL 3 digit..... but hey, i'm not complaining... i like my current no too!

Saw a SFM 1688 on the raod b4, it means "yi lu fa fa"

3 digit not bad if it sound nice like 666 or 888, of coz these no. need to be bid

i dun think the num go by 1000 series or 2000 series...
they anyhow jump....normally for bidded num will be seen on the road first...
eg:SFM 9999 Z compare to SFM 1357 Z.... Laughing
