From the several cases of miscoupled trains, I can finally
conclude that:
SMRT doesn't care whether a
trainset is coupled together with the correct trainset. They care
whether the trains are in working condition...
Maybe this is the scenario in BSD:
*Trainset 022 was parking at Track
43... Trainset 036 was parking at Track 44. A SMRT staff saw
them... He asked his workers to couple them together. Finally they
are off for operation... And there it goes, 022-036
