I find the amendment to 254 somewhat shaky though, parts of Tuas
Rd do not get fast connection from an MRT station and Tuas Crescent
MRT station is some distance away on the return direction from Tuas
Ave 11.
Though the overall arrangement is indeed quite well done. Am a
little surprised that 255 wasn't amended to improve links from Gul
Circle MRT, but oh well.
We have:
Actually, there's no point in having 254 ply Tuas Crescent or
Tuas West Road stations, if people can only use the stations to get
to work, and not to get home.
It is messy; not "synchronous". People will still use Joo Koon
Bus Interchange, to transfer between bus and train.
254 amendment is probably to shorten the route, to reduce travel
time and improve reliability, and not really to connect to the new
stations.
