A reticulated python found hiding under MRT tracks at
Ulu Pandan depot on May 5.
According to the Straits
Times, technicians were on inspection duty when they came
across the huge serpent.
Snake catchers were then called in to remove the
reptile.
SMRT's vice-president for corporate information and
communications Patrick Nathan said the python was "safely removed"
at around 2am on May 6.
Photos taken by a Straits Times reader show two men
putting the snake into a bag.
Is is unclear how the python made its way into the
tracks.
