Some would argue that the TME aka 6.5 is the last rally bred
version of the Evolution 
The MR in some ways borrows on that heritage by using
the same titanium turbo, standard in the TME.
The TME is a lighter car and that is always a bonus, but the newer
Evos have more sophisticated electronics in the Super AYC and ACD
that make it far more agile in the tracks.
