having entered the workforce, i think i can understand why now bah....

professionals shld know how to do appropriate research and come up with proposals from credible sources.

and not anyhow cut & paste or pluck stats from dubious sources when doing business reports/proposals.

which is why now, i find myself very often spending a lot of time & effort doing primary research before taking on any new projects. Smile

i only follow the style from journal one

the authors followed by the title of article(this one can dun want one) then the journal the article comes out in, the issue, year and page

lecturers use this software turnitin …to search for online sources of playgiarism. Quite useless, especially if u copied directly from books or use ghost writers.

I think they use it in JCs too, it allows a 5% error margin, so isn't very effective.

ooo peeps.. a good search engine besides uni database is scholar.google.com

all from academic sources like journals, books, etc.

i normally use this as a starting point for my academic research
