Here ya go.. Malay is a little rusty but I think still
OK..
Now, Malaysian citizens can be proud with another of Proton's
success with the production of the Waja 2.0 model (Putra GTi).
Virtually the entire R&D was the result of the work of
Malaysians. The new design gives Proton a better image and prestige
in the world
With lines and curves that provide a sportier image, the Putra GTi
offers prestige and recognition that is no less impressive. To
achieve that objective, the Putra GTi is equipped with a 2.0l 24
valve 6 inline cylinder, as well as PRO VVL that is able to produce
220bhp at 6500rpm. At launch, the Putra GTi will be produced with a
5 speed manual and 4 speed automatic gearbox using that
engine.
In addition, even the driving comfort is enhanced with the
installation of Recaro seats and Momo racing wheel.
The new clean interior and fabrics adds an elegant and luxurious
touch to the cabin.
To meet the EU safety requirements, the Putra GTi has undergone
several front and side-impract crash tests, and is equipped with
airbags and ABS brakes.
At launch, the Putra GTi is expected to retail at approximately
RM120,000.
Weird, there are TWO rear bumper designs?? One looks like the
Skyline GT-R/T/S while the lower one looks like a bog standard
Waja?
