anyway 1 question

let's say there is this rather big yellow box right before the traffic light.
If just at the moment i touch the yellow box the lights turn amber. should i just go ahead or stop? Both of these actions carries deduction
During the test what do i do?
Btw this yellow box lies just after the bus stop, most probably for the bus to "hang around" when the light's read

once u crossed the stop line, dun stop. jus go ahead. if he minus u for amber line dashin rite jus tell him not safe to stop anymore since u already cross stop line. but if he li xiao u say, y u nv slow down etc. then good luck to u. this kinda of thing is see heng suay n tester wan to guai lan u anot.

so the real tip is, be extremely n geniuely nice to ur tester Smile but suay siao get screw up 1 then u can prepare to T_T.

try not to get urself in the situation u describe as of above. slow down, u can see if the pederstrian on the other side is red, dat's a warning for u to be careful le.

err usually if i'm not wrong, the yellow box doesn't cover up to the stop line. it has space for 1 car or 2 to go in. so if u see got 1 - 2 cars inside. jus dun go in lor. usually between stopline n the yellow box should haf gap for 1 car. check with ur instructor. he can gif u more accurate explaination.

then try not to go into the yellow box. but if u r in the yellow box, n the lights are amber, i suggest u make a dash for it. but if not safe then stay in the box show that u are safety driver regardless u inside box or outside box bcoz i tink dash red light accident rate will be higher.

Hmm... Best if dun follow front vehicle too closely lest you wish to make a decision like this..

here's my tactics

- i will purposely reduce my speed by 30% when approaching any traffic lights as if it's a red light asking me to stop, whether or not it's going to change. Then pick up speed after the stop line.

Most important thing is to think safety. I can give you a few scenarios, hope it helps.

1. Cars behind you are tailgating u.
- Dun attempt to speed up, keep to your right speed and keep left
- instructors can fail you for driving too slow

2. In situation where you just turn right at a junction and wanted to keep left, but the cars on the left are not letting into the left most lane.
- Stay in your lane then.
- Speed accordingly to avoid behind vehicles from horning u

3. In conjunction with (2). You need to go straight and the intructor has intructor had instructed u to go straight too. But in the right lane, u can't keep left and the lane u are in needs to turn right.
- follow the road and turn right
- even u drive out of the intended course, the instructor won't fail u.

touch yellow box with no space to stop behind the stop line then die die amber also must go already ma. If u dun stop in time u end up inside the yellow box immediate failure worse right? might as well chiong the most get a few points.

Tat yellow box is a real killer! U come close to it, then u can see the box... And rite after the box is a stop line...

Anywae, i learn to identify it by:

On the right side... U can see the blk no 631!

Each time i see tis blk no, i will be warned! Got tis time i stopped rite b4, then i saw the bus happily go into it, durin red light...

Dunno leh, but i asked my inst b4, he told me, eg. u inside the yellow box liao hor, then suddenly traffic turn amber... U in time to stop, u stop. Not in time then jus proceed lor... Jus lik normal road lor, pretend don have tat yellow box...

But a general rule is tat, u approachin road junction, jus cover foot brake, in case suddenly change amber or wat, got time to react ma... One thing i learn esp is tat, hmm... Alot people standin at the pedestrian crossin, n the light is still green, is changin any moment from now... st way slow down! Wink

hm.... you know those white arrows on the roads? release acc and slow down when you reach that 2nd white arrow, then pick up speed when you reach the first arrow if the traffic light is still green. that what i always do anyways Mr. Green
