ndmmxiaomayi SG Really ar? I always thought that your body will try to reject the donor's organs or whatever because it doesn't recognize it. So I think it is the same for bone marrow.
thinkdifferent SG For this purpose we have the immunosupressives, medicaments which supress one's immunity. The bad news is, that the person is prone to infections, gets sick easily. It affects the quality of life.
ndmmxiaomayi SG GM crops not interested. Interested in genetic diseases. Cell microbiology? Or cell and molecular biology?
oxford mushroom SG It's the practical labwork that is interesting...I would choose a course that has lots of lab work...If you are interested in molecular genetics and good in IT as well, there is a possibility of going into bioinformatics...a new and important field. But have to warn you that science does not pay that well...especially when there are lots of Chinese scientists coming over at low pay...
ndmmxiaomayi SG Bioinformatics... read up on it, doesn't seem to interest me despite having the IT element. But the most important question is, what to study? I really don't know. Most of the science courses seem to be overlapping. Or should I be taking a broad-based course?
