I sifted through the replies and not many really answered your
question.
PIs are a force to be reckoned with these days. The cars they sell,
most models are not sold by the agent here. If they are, they offer
quite a discount. Anyway, the worry here is aftersales. Not many
are credible PIs. The only ones that are good are Hua Yang, Ricardo
Motors to name a few. The latter has its own workshop and I was
servicing my Celica there for as long as I owned it. When u decide
to buy a PI car, please check how many of teh same makes are
running on the road. If there are many, the stockist will bring in
the parts and u will have no difficulty.
More often than not, small PIs are tied up with some lousy workshop
who knows no sh*t about the car and are good for changing engine
oil.
Cheers.
