jiayong SG Rotary engine…not sure if it is exactly the same as the RX-7…but it sure gives out a sound that is very different from Pistons and Cams engines.

LH83 SG Wait… you saying the Rx-7 or Rx-8? I think the Rx-7 Type S is turbocharged… Anyway, 255bhp from a 1.3l engine is actually good… cos it’s a rotary…. can anyone confirm this?
[email protected] SG a wankel engine is the term for rotaries. the RX-8's motor is in no way the same as the RX-7's just that the method of operation is similiar.
[email protected] SG im not so sure about this. but even if it isin't i think u are very much mistaken to say the RX-7 and thre RX-8's engine is the same. thats like saying the old sq headlamp merc E200 and the new round eyes merc E200 has the same engine just because both are 2 litre, and have 4 cylinders.
LazerLordz SG The new E200 is a supercharged 1.8L engine. Not a two-litre engine.Unless you are talking about the C180 2.0L.
