picking up my driving again

hey, i am thinking of picking up my driving again. i mean i never drive ever since i got my license. so thinking of going for refresher course, then get a second hand. wanted a first hand car, but hmm Rolling Eyes friends tell me to go join car sharing first. practise a bit then get the car. is there any difference between car sharing and car rental ah?? i mean i am thinking of getting a "short-term" car to drive occassionally to work, shopping, hehe, practise a bit now and then, not those one day rent a car for one full day, and drive around for a whole day!! so does that fit into car sharing Confused thanks.

Hmm, car-sharing seems to fit your needs. From what I understand, car rental companies usually rent for the whole day. As for car-sharing, you can rent for an hour or even just 20 mins (for certain companies) if you so wish.

But then refresher course lik more ex than normal course! dunno the reason for it too!

Jus practise practise on ur own first, if possible lor... In ur family's car, or friends to sit in beside u n guide u abit... It will soon come back all to u dez... But do avoid heavily congested place, not only of traffic, but pedestrians too!

i did tot of taking refresher course too after passing my driving test for more than 4 yrs..... but in the end decided not to cos afterall will be driving an auto car....

just practise on ur own when u get ur car.... got less crowded places and gain confidence in controlling the vehicle.... try to go slow initially and take heed of your surroundings and try not to pose danger to other rd users...

i took less than 3 days.... i'm sure u can too.....

If you go for refresher course, it may seem a bit expensive but you will be more safe when you are first time on the road.
