Was at the shell station opposite Anson Centre last night. Saw
the 7% discount and wanted to fill up.
The attendant told me 98, 95 all sold out, only have
V-power($1.60/litre). No choice. Some of the motorist were also
cursing away. Where got such thing sold out? Didn't they do some
forecasting on consumption or are they enticing customer to come in
and 'force' them to use V-Power. Even after 7% discount, it is
still way too expensive than 98.
At the end I top up to full from half tank and it cost me $44.60/-.
My full tank on 98 will only cost me $55/- at most. Can't help
driving away, feeling cheated!
