Amos Yee is in hell right now, feeling suicidally depressed. Not only will he continue to be incarcerated for an indeterminate duration (at least several more months in jail) awaiting the slow US government appeal and further hearing process, but there's also a very real horrifying (to both Amos Yee and Singaporeans alike) possibility and likelihood that his asylum bid will be denied and that he will be repatriated back to Singapore.

Speaking of Amos Yee, you can also check in on Melissa Chen's Facebook from time to time for updates.

Singapore billionaire and director of 31 companies, fined $12k for building a wall on his own landed property without Sg Govt's permission. First of all, it is his own land, but you know the Sg Govt. Secondly, $12k to him is like $12 to you and me. Just pointing out the rich-poor divide.
