Here in Singapore, HC earns 5-10x the Sg$3mil+ that LHL earns,
both their salaries borne by taxpayers' taxes, CPF and REITS (which
funds Temasek and GIC), and as you should already know, REITS drive
up the cost of living for everyone.
[UK] - Despite being paid an annually salary of Sg250k+ a year,
he still files claims for 'job-related expenses' such as chewing
gum, mineral water, tissue paper, alcoholic drinks, etc, which of
course pales in comparison to the main bulk of his Sg$100k+ claims,
which would be the costs of flying all around the world in 1st
class, staying at luxury hotels, all billed to the government, ie.
taxpayers footing the bill.
