I'm not apolitical. I was privately political until 5 months ago I broke the unwritten rule about not posting political views on social media...I got a range of reactions - anger, amusement, some agreement, strong disagreement, confusion, and concern - but mostly, just silence. It’s not the anger I worry about - it’s the deafening, unsettling silence.

It’s what I‘ve been worrying about for some time now.

Many close friends privately messaged me with their concern:

“Is everything okay?" "Why are you so stupid to risk your life, you can go to jail” "Do you think that Singaporeans will appreciate you and thank you ?

My real friends in Facebook unfriended me .... I've got myself booted out of alumni chat group....but we re-created new groups to chat.

Even my recent overseas holidays, it was awkward for me cos this lady didn't like me to air my views openly and obviously her kids and spouse are civil servants.... She avoided talking about politics or changed subjects but being zestful in correcting her views, I cornered her, questioned her about the EP, her views and made her realise the stupidity in her own mindset.

Now with the Petrobas corruption case, there are more people 'waking up'.....

I read Bloomberg news last year (2016) on 3 August, reporting on how the Brazilian agent, Zwi Skornicki, testified in a Brazilian court naming five of the Keppel senior executives, which include then Keppel Offshore & Marine CEO Chow Yew Yuen, who had authorized him to bribe the officials....

But Keppel’s management immediately responded on the same day, denying its involvement in the bribery case.

....it came to my mind why the EP was a pressing issue for MIWs, cos they already had in mind a dumb and muted Godmother to collude with them and cover up their evil deeds. ....

Then came the loadshit of lies and charade (August to December 2016) about the reserved President when Acting Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean said the commission had produced a "comprehensive and thoughtful report, after an extensive process to solicit views from the public"....funnily my opinion was not sought (just musing, no malice intent and am not that thick-skinned)...how many of us here had they 'solicited' our opinions, are we not members of the public ?

I feel cheated that if Indian can be Malay could 31.1% be 69.9%??...this flimflam is disturbing my mind...

I had this same feeling during the EP, and that it was a scam election to disqualify TCB.

I started to blog cos there is this nagging fear in me that things are going wrong in my country.

The fact that Keppel simply denied about Bloomberg accusation, it bemused me that Keppel didn't sue Bloomberg (as it was customary for the government to be litigious like LKY sued Far Eastern Economic Review for writing about nepotism)...set me thinking....that fear of corruption being reported and questioned is the reason for EP......it makes me sick.

I Google searched for more information about GIC business activities.....and sickened to the gut that billions of dollars being lost and the timing tally with that of CPF withdrawal limit...the minimum sum and all that bullshit....

I was and am still worried about our reserves .... habis and kosong ? I am greatly concerned that corruption results in decisions contrary to the wishes of the electorate, which is manifested in the EP......Corruption in pernicious forms may be taking hold on the nation and is significant factor that has been systematically downplayed or ignored.

I am aware that corruption is unquestionably becoming apparent and that it must be substantial enough for them to wayang with a commission to redefine constitutional acts all out to disqualify TCB so that he can't expose all the evil deeds .... Hence they appointed a Godmother to compound their fear of impending corruption should it be exposed.

I was new to blogging politics; I've gotten hate messages, accusation of faking news about Halimah's bungalow, which she bought a year before the EP in 2016. Of course she need not lodge caveat for public information and my screenshot of Google maps default has a house no. SMRT FEEDBACK BY VIGILANTE and AllstuffSingapore blasted me for fake news about Google map default house number. It was a screenshot of the road 'Fifth Avenue' and 'no 20' appeared by default of Google map not that I wrote it.

Very stupid isn't it ? An innocent picture illustration for my post, is the subject of scrutiny for the least important issue. Her house number doesn't interest me, cos I don't buy 4D.

Then the dumb and muted Godmother created havoc in Yishun community.....her royal hula bula annoyed the Yishun residents and she was shooed to shift to a temporary holding place at Bournemouth Rd which she is renting....

She is not staying at the Fifth Avenue house which she bought a year before the EP to avoid public disparagement about her stupid claims on insisting to remain a heartlander and stay at Yishun....lies after lies...President lies, PM lies....ministers lie....and with all the bullshit...they are just wolves in sheepskin...they can't get any whiter....i feel very shameful for them....very, very disgusting....now our country is known to be 'corrupted'....what other image can we project other than 'clean and green'?

Somehow you have to cajole, coax and humour 69.9% to set them thinking. It is not that 69.9% are morons, but it is just that they refuse to think and remain ignorant.

Is everything ok? Yeah, I think so. I mean, I used to think so.... Or maybe I’m not sure I know anymore.

While I am social and outgoing, my outspoken personality is completely antithetical to my friends and relatives who are reserved about political banter.

That can be difficult to determine when you’re surrounded by people who see reality very differently than you do. Some of my friends genuinely think I’m just trolling. After all, no reasonable person would hold such views.. would they? And up until now, they’ve always known me to be a reasonable, sensible person....

It is a daunting task....talking and convincing them about my views is like proving Pythagoras Theorem. I have my Facebook account since 2009 and rarely used it. Until last year I use it mainly for sourcing recipes ...... fast forward.....and from WhatsApp chat groups, I venture to do my first blog in Facebook just before the EP.

I’ve been a contrarian my whole life.

I think there’s value in taking up the unpopular opinion in the face of consensus, but I must acknowledge that sometimes unpopular opinions are unpopular for good reason....it is just that they're not morons but I see minds indoctrinated in fear. It takes time for them to overcome fear.
